What is ODIN
The causal digital twin of the Canadian economy.
ODIN models Canada’s economy as a living system — thousands of causal links between the forces that actually move it — and reasons over that system to explain not just what is happening, but why, and what it means next.
How it’s different
Most economic AI is fluent but ungrounded — confident answers built on surface patterns. ODIN is built the opposite way:
- Causal, not correlational. Every read traces real transmission chains through the twin — rates to credit to demand to employment.
- Falsifiable and reality-graded. ODIN commits to specific, testable calls and lets reality settle them on schedule.
- It shows its work. Claims are grounded in the substrate; when the evidence isn’t there, ODIN says so instead of fabricating.

What you see here is the facts layer — the live state of the economy, free and public. The reasoning layer — tracing why each move matters, asking your own questions, and the institutional API — is the engine.
