What is ODIN
The causal digital twin of the Canadian economy.
ODIN models Canada’s economy as a living system — thousands of causal links between the forces that actually move it — and reasons over that system to explain what is happening, why, and what it means next.
How it’s different
Most economic AI is fluent but ungrounded — confident answers built on surface patterns. ODIN is built the opposite way:
- Causal, not correlational. Each read is built on a causal graph of Canada’s economy (approximately 2,800 nodes) that traces transmission chains — rates to credit to demand to employment.
- Falsifiable and reality-graded. ODIN commits to specific, testable calls and lets reality settle them on schedule.
- It shows its work. When ODIN uses live web sources, the answer lists them; when the evidence isn’t there, ODIN says so.
